I really like this recipe but didn't think it had enough of that wonderful filling. So I had to mod it a bit. Shocked

3 8oz. cream cheese or 2 12oz.
1-1/2 stick butter melted
1-1/2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 tubes cresent rolls

Same cookin' instructions.
Roll 1 tube of rolls in 9x13 pan & press seams together. Cream other ingredients & spread on 1st roll. Top with 2nd cresent roll sheet. Sprinkle with some more sugar & cinnamon. Bake at 375 for 25 min. cool & cut.
Oh I did change the sugar to brown sugar. Wink

The only problem with this is you really ought to have a good sized crowd to finish this off without accumulating too much guilt and weight. Embarassed

So - I found a way you can do a 1/2 size version.

1 12oz. cream cheese
3/4 stick butter melted
3/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
1 tube cresent rolls - make sure the tube makes 8 crescents!
Roll 1/2 tube of rolls in 9x9 pan & press seams together. Cream other ingredients & spread on bottom roll. Top with 2nd cresent roll sheet. Sprinkle with some more sugar & cinnamon. Bake at 375 for 25 min. cool & cut. Doesn't quite take 25 min. anymore. Watch it the first time.

BTW
Plumber, I cheat and use a mixer to cream everything together. Lazy Brethren Bastige mod.

Finally made it. Topped with a strawberry glaze. Man was it good. Sorry for only one pic but it didn't stay around very long.
