The first is a Series 40 Grill with a custom spare carrier. Lightweight but still has enough room to cook for a crowd.

And below we have a Series 70 Caterer. Thanks to the heavy steel water pans that make great charcoal pans, these grill as good as they smoke. Perfect for the caterer or tailgater. Available in 4', 5', 6' and 7' widths. This one also has unfinished sign plates of the front and sides of the cooker.

A few more pictures available at http://www.diamondplatepits.com/photos.html More pictures will be added soon.

PM me or email me at oklahomadpp@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

I've got a quick question about the 70. If you use it as a grill by burning the charcoal on the water trays, wouldn't the cooker be so hot that the paint would be ruined?? Just a thought.
It's nice to see the new innovations.

Man, those DPs are nice. If I wouldn't get too much grief for buying (not building) a smoker that's the one I'd get.

Thanks for the pics and updates Okiejay! Very Happy

Can you tell us what the price range(s) are for the new cookers?

I know a lot of fellows here at the ring are looking for something more economical for the back yard, but of large enough size and quality to last for a home enthusiast. Is that new 40 available without the trailer? If not, you may want to talk to Travis......................

I'm a big fan of DP products, and the people that build and sell them. All very good folks to work with indeed. I needed some advice from Travis a while back, and he was certainly a class act to speak with.

Best of luck with the new cookers! Very Happy

Not so far. I keep the doors open when grilling, so it does not get that hot inside.

Yes, that is the one I was telling you about. I will post pics soon of it's maiden cook with 100 hamburgers and 200 hot dogs on and room to spare.

I will get those up as soon as possible. Yes, we can build the 40 as a backyard cooker. I will ask Travis to estimate a price.

Nice pics Okie. I need Travis to build me a custom catering rig with a DP on the back porch of it.

Hey Okie, you took my pictures.... LOL..

Yea, that DeWALT rig is nice, I just delievered it to the DeWALT folks about a week ago and they love it.

Rumor has it they will be raffling it off at either the upcoming November BBQ Coo-off here in Arizona or at the April one.

That would be a nice rig to win...

Hope you don't mind, Travis sent them to me. They are also up on www.diamondplatepits.com in the Photos section.

Nope, don't mind at all, I was just giving you a hard time.

I really like that rig and the ones you posted above. On my next order, I am going to have to order that water pan and custom door, I really like that.

Hopefully we will get a lot more of these built for DeWALT and other companies, I think they are incredible units.

I know of a couple of them that will be cooking in our big Dual Sanctioned BBQ Cook-off here in Arizona in November. We would love to get a few more out here for that event as well... Hint...Hint... Very Happy

Sorry Mike, but that is just so cool. We're doing one for a State Farm Insurance rep in red and black.

Great graphic for your avatar Travis, I need to get that one...

Keep up the great work... Can't wait to see those next two you are building for us...
