Went to Van's pig stand in norman tonight. Good ribs, good hot links but the brisket was the best. Great atmosphere will be going back soon. _________________ What got me started was a

Haven't been to the one in Norman.
The one in Moore (on 4th Street) is decent. Their ribs can be a little hit or miss.
I've only eaten at the one in Shawnee once but the ribs that night were really good for restaurant Q. Wished I had ordered a whole slab that night.
Have you eaten at Legends BBQ in Norman? I ate there a few years ago and it was decent BBQ.... Seems like I remember it being a little expensive but the ribs and turkey were decent. _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

Never been to Legends but the turkey at Rudys was the best. _________________ What got me started was a

Ate at the one in Norman for the first time last night. The ribs were oversmoked and a little on the dry side. The hotlink was really good but like I always say.... it's hard to mess up a hotlink.
So far of the 3 locations I have to say that the one I tried in Shawnee was the best... The ribs I had that evening were some of the best restaurant ribs I've ever had. I gnawed the bones clean and considered ordering some more. _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

I was also at Vans in Norman last week. The ribs were a little dry like they were there all day. Other than that it was great. I have been to the one in Moore and won't be back. The food was not as good and the atmosphere was poor. I felt like i was eating in a mexican joint. _________________ What got me started was a

I beleive so. It's located on the East end of a hotel there. I was there for a convention one time and ate there. _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

| The hotel is Sooner Legends and I remember the billboards on the way up there now for the restaurant. The Legends Restaurant that I was referring to was the one that is just west of Berry, it is NOT a BBQ restaurant but they do have great food....or at least they did the last time that I ate there about 20 years ago. |
