Ok, here is the review from last weeks brisket cook.
Started out with a 13lb brisket, injected it with Butcher BBQ marinade and went by the directions on the package, let rest for 4 hours then added a mustard slather and dry rub.
This is the same way I did the Fab B vs non Fab brisket a while back.
Hit the smoker for about 13 hours, internal temp went to 202 when I took it off and it rested for 2 hours before cutting.
I wasn't able to take as many pictures as I had a tailgate party as well that afternoon.
Here are some pics. Final review after the pics.

The brisket was outstanding. I did not add any beef broth, just water to the mix and the brisket was loaded with flavor.
Tenderness - Amazing, was not overdone and falling apart yet you could pull with with 2 fingers and it would break just right, great for competition.
Moist - Most definately, the tip I cut which is the picture shot was the dryest piece out of the whole thing and I could have still pushed on it and had juice. I also re-heated this the next day in the oven for 2 hours and when I cut into it, juice ran out.

Overall, great product and better outcome than the Fab B brisket I cooked a few months back. No ill effects on the stomach at all!
Would I use this in competition? Yes
Would I use this for catering? Yes
For family and friends? Yes

I cooked w/ it as well this weekend. Brisket (wanted to try it just on a flat) it was 7 lbs from SAMS. I also let it sit for 4 hours. I thought it was great. Very moist, very flavorful. For the price...you cant beat it. Two thumbs up.

So where could a guy see the ingredient list for this stuff?

If it does not contain MSG, Or any pseudo-names that MSG is usually hidden under, I might even be willing to give it a try.

Thanks for the review

Lots of products have MSG in them actually. From Doritos to many oriental prepared sauces to any type of bullion. And yes, MSG is a naturally occuring substance found in a lot of foods. Seaweed I believe being one of the top percentage wise.

Without seeing the product list, I would also imagine that this product has phosphates as well. This is an often used trick that many chicken suppliers use to keep chicken from being dry. Injected chicken also boosts the weight, so the customer is basically buying water and chemical additives.

Do what you like, I prefer non enhanced foods whenever possible.

As a side note, the advertising rates at the ring are great David! Sounds like you have a bunch of ready and willing buyers here. Nothing wrong with making money- it's the American way! Wink Very Happy

Just did a quick "Google" for phosphated chicken. Lots of good info there, but this was pretty much straight to the point on the "how's and why's:
