I just wanted to say hello before posting. I'm a newbie in Flower Mound, TX...which is in the middle of the DFW metroplex.
I've actually smoked foods for a number of years, but have received my education from all you wonderful and passionate Q and smoke experts.
I began on a Brinkman vertical water smoker, but then graduated to a BBC side box 2 years ago. My goal is to open a catering business, featuring smoked meat, within the next year. So, I will be purchasing a smoker on a trailer soon.
Favorite, and best, smoked meat is baby-back ribs and whole chicken.
Once again, thanks for all of your input. Your knowledge has helped in creating a great reputation in the area for smoked foods. |
