I second what BBQMAN says. Getting a Stump's shipped to Europe should not be a huge ordeal. Just a matter of deciding what model to get and working the details out.

My guess would be a trailer mounted rig might be difficult to get approval through the regulators. I read in a different thread where a Diamond Plate Products smoker was build on a skid, instead of a trailer, and sold & shipped to a customer in Europe.

Im curious as to the backyard model as well. I have the SW223 which is an uninsualted vertical w/ an offset firebox. Stump was selling these for 750. He said he only made about 9 of them or so, said he didnt make anyhting off of them cause they have so much steel. I have one...so I guess its a limited edition Very Happy Nonetheless...its a great smoker...I can hold it at 250 constant all day. (Of coarse it took me a few cooks to really dial it in) but..I love it.

Based on my latest information, the "Stumps Backyard" smoker will be an insulated, vertical smoker with a water pan & charcoal basket. Probably very similar to some of the smaller sized Backwoods Smokers

The backyard will have a smaller footprint than the existing Elite vertical gravity feed smokers.

The model is still in development. The target price is at or around $1000.

I need to correct my last post on this from about a month ago.

The Stump's Backyard model is not an insulated cabinet smoker as previously stated. The lid/door to the cooking chamber is insulated at 1" thick.

The Backyard is a single walled smoker that is similar in size to the discontinued SW2x3 Offset smoker. It features two cooking racks and a removable water pan for cooking flexibility. The charcoal pan can also be raised up in place of the water pan to convert for use as a grill. There is also a pull-out ash pan to aid with the clean-up. The waterpan, charcoal grate and ash pan are serviced from a large gasketed single door on the side of the cooker. The door also includes the trademark ball valve intake control that can also adapt for a Guru or Stoker fan and controls.

The Backyard is a big brother to the Tailgater that also has a trailer hitch bracket that mounts to a standard 2" reciever or can be used on legs.
The tailgater retails for around $550 and the Backyard at around $850.

*all prices and details are subject to change at the descretion of Stump's Smokers inc.

Do you have any pictures of the backyard model, Big Tom? If not, do you know the dimensions? I don't see it on the Stump's website.

They are still so new I don't have any information or photos either; only that the cooker is larger than the "Tailgater" and retails around $850.

The operation is identical with all the flexibilty of water smoker, indirect smoker, or charcoal grill.
