Can someone please recommend a grate level thermometer for a smoker that does NOT require a Smart Phone (I still have an old fashioned cell phone)?

The thermometer on the lid does not seem to be very accurate and I want to know the temperature at the level of the meat without opening it up. Right now it seems that my smoker is way hotter than what it says on the lid thermometer.

Thanks.

I have an (old) iGrill2. I think Weber bought them out a while ago.

It works with a smartphone, but does not require one. It has a nice, bright LED display if you don't connect to their "app".

Supports up to four probes, I almost always use one for grate temperature but it may be overkill if all you want is a grate thermometer.

I use Smoke™ Remote BBQ Alarm Thermometer from Thermoworks. It has two probes, one for grate temperature and the other is a meat probe. It has served me well over the years.

Same here on the ThermoWorks Smoke. It also has a remote addition that comes with giving accurate temp readings from the Smoke. I’m going to get the four channel version in the future.
