I have a WSM need to do a couple pork shoulders in 2 weeks, very possible its going to be very cold. Whats everyone do in these situations

It'll probably use more fuel in the cold weather. If there's wind, you'll want to protect the smoker from it somehow.

I smoke on my 22.5 WSM all year round, the cold doesn't seem to effect it as much as the wind. The cheapest trick if you are worried about the cold is HVAC foil insulation they sell at Home Depot. Get some muffler or high temp tape and make a koozie type setup for the middle. Loose enough to slip on and off to refuel using the door.
OR if you are lucky enough just shovel a pile of snow around it, great insulator.
