Hey guys I need advice...quick!
I put a butt on this morning and here I am 9 hours later and it's only at around 150 degrees internal temp.
I HAVE to leave in about an hour and a half.
What can I do to save this butt?

Make sure your thermometer is accurate. Unless you are cooking a really large butt at a really low temp it should be at least 180-190 by now, otherwise the fastest way I know to finish it is to wrap it in foil and place it in a 350 degree oven to bring it up to temp.

Update: It took over 16 hours to get that 7-8 lb butt to 195 degrees IT
Started it 220 but had to bump up to 250 to get it done.
Turned out great though, sorry no pics

That sounds like a long time to cook a 7-8 lb butt. I usually cook my butts at 275 and don't get too excited if they go as high as 300. I try not to let the temp fall below 260. I usually cook a full case (Cool butts when I cook and try to cook 10 lb average butts. I usually cook them in about 8-10 hours depending on weather conditions and how my cooker is running.

Low pit temp. I'd say 16 hours isn't unreasonable for an 8# butt at that temp.

Raise your pit temp next time (250-300), and you'll see a drastic difference in the speediness of the cook.
