2 Ingredient Juicy Smoked Chicken Breasts

One of my favourites cuts is the chicken breast, simple I know but if done right they can be amazing. I loved the smoked flavour however I used to have a fair bit of trouble making sure the breasts didn't dry out.

This simple, two-ingredient recipe delivers the most flavorful, tender, and juicy chicken you’ll ever try and it takes less than half of the time of smoking a whole chicken. The secret is in the oil. I use olive oil or avocado oil!

Simply lay your washed chicken on a large piece of grill foil, drizzle the oil over one side, flip and drizzle the oil on the other side. Close the foil packet and place it in the refrigerator until you’re grill or smoker is ready.

We use a bradley digital smoker, Ive love it had it for years! Its maintain heat well so I don't end up with tough meat
So I just heat coals directly in the smoker box, then add some hickory wood once the grill temperature has reached 250ºF, let the smoking begin. I place the foil pack with the marinated chicken in your grill on the lower rack, shut the grill lid, and smoke for two to two and a half hours, until the internal temperature reaches 160ºF and the juices run clear.

Do you smoke it in the foil pack or open it up and and let it smoke on the opened up pack sitting on the rack.

Did I miss the second ingredient? I just saw the oil.

Chicken is easy...don't take the breast over 165 & it's the same every flipping time...perfect.

You can get away with a few less degrees at home, but my livelihood depends on following the FDA Food Code...so it's 165 for me.
