How do you guy`s preheat splits if you have a warming box on your smoker????
I need ideas.......

There is a 5" gap between my first shelf and the bottom of the warmer I place them there when I do it. Normally I do not preheat I used to but quit. I have found I get a more consistent burn not heating them. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Sometimes in the warmer of my Lang if they are damp, probably dosent help but old habits are hard to break. _________________ New Braunfels Offset
