Groupon's running a deal on these for $150. Anyone know if this brand is any good?

Ah, to hell with it. I ordered one and if I don't like it, I'll tinker with it and donate it to charity if I can't tweak it up. You really can't go wrong with it at that price if it performs nearly as advertised. Who knows, it might replace my wok rig for stir-fry.

FWIW, I did research the forum, but almost all of the posts referenced the larger griddle (36" vs. 28") than the one I was considering. Based on those posts, I think I have a head start on potential modifications.

Any specific info on this model would be appreciated.

I just got the same thing for Christmas. I'm not sure if it was this way when I got it or if I got it too hot, but mine is bowed a little in the middle. It's not a big problem, but I have to push the grease into the grease tray. Does yours do the same thing?
What kind of results are you getting with yours? How often are you using it? What are your favorite recipes?

Are you guys still using your Blackstone?

I've had it about a month now and I've done stir fry, asparagus, texas toast, steak, burgers, brats, hot dogs, bacon, eggs, etc.

I'm having some trouble though. It seems to heat unevenly. I'm trying the two zone method but it seems like both sides get really hot.

I'm trying to get my technique down too...I guess i should cook the "dirty" food last, like burgers? Any techniques you guys have on this would be great.
