Now its time to start making some bacon....loins in the freezer....time to cold smoke some cheese...

Seems like you got it all together for winter.
I know I'll do a smoke this winter but not for a while.
I'm doing meals that need the oven on for extended time.

Difference is your temps are just below freezing.
Mine are below zero fahrenheit.

cold snap here in the east isn't stopping anyone in my neighborhood. I have a nice 5 bone standing rib roast ready for the WSM on Xmas day and then a few racks of spares for Xmas Eve, supposed to be 46 with no wind so that will be just fine.

Happy Winter season all!

Sounds like you've got some big plans for your winter vacation Rick Very Happy

I'm taking the week between Christmas and New Years off...Plan on making some Buckboard bacon and maybe some sausage too. I'll also be spending some time in my shop working on my CBGs.

Shoot...now that I think about it, I don't know that one week is going to be enough time for all the goofing off I plan on doing. Rolling Eyes Sad 3 months sounds a lot better than one week, but i'll take what I can get... Very Happy Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Enjoy your time off Very Happy
