About 30 years ago I would hunt or fish about every weekend. I stopped hunting in the early 90's and went exclusively to Bass fishing. I fished nearly every weekend for years and then one day I just stopped and sold my boat. Last year my brother bought a new boat and I have started back fishing with him and we fish together at least 2-3 times a month. People sometimes ask me why I get up at 3 or 4 in the morning and get to the lake before daylight. I tell folks that you cant fish all day if you don't start early. The real reason is because I love to watch the sun come up over the water. Today we were fishing on the south end of Kentucky Lake about 25 miles north of Pickwick Dam. I took a few minutes to stop and enjoy the sunrise and took a couple of photos with my phone. I thought it was a nice sunrise and wanted to share.

We got invited to fish in a small bass tournament that a few guys were having. The fishing was tough for us but I ended up winning the big fish contest so we won our entry fee back. I didn't get any pics of the fish but maybe I can get a few photos of smallmouth when we start catching some this fall and winter.
