I am a lone wolf in my shop. To this day, I have yet to receive a reply to my request " Hey, hold that for a second, would ya?" I figure I have " MacGuyvered " a way to make up for lack of a third hand more than McDonalds has made hamburgers. No way I could have ever gotten much done without my C-clamps and magnets. Yah, I need more. Smokin Mike, FWIW... Stillwell Chuck has an awesome assortment of clamps.

I'm liking working alone going on 5 or 6 years now since I had employees.

Impressive Rolling Eyes

Roll your eyes, I have worked with over 100 welders.
I'm sure some are faster and better but they would be few and far between.

my target is still being a tig'r.
I'd still work side by side with anyone welding.
I don't do so good with torches I have them, and can fix that problem with the plasma cutter.

It didn't. The biggest thing that brought me to this forum a few years ago was the quality of content contributed by the posters of this forum in a most humble and helpful way. That is rare in this day and time.

Smokin Mike, I apologize for my contribution to the hijacking of your thread. I have a couple of Bessey clamps just like yours and find them very helpful, especially when building angle iron grates. Very Happy
