you really need to change it a bit.
I won't be backing for the simple reason that you will not ship out of the us.
you really limited yourself there.
too bad, it's an interesting product, not too sure about the (creosote)?? black soot that attaches itself to the chicken. I know that will taste like crap. that usually happens when the coals aren't heated enough. my dad used to rush it back in the 70's so I remember that taste well. lol
try doing a new cooking video, after heating all of the coals to grey. it will make a world of difference in your presentation and the flavor.
but after seeing your pricing today I was going to back just out of respect. but that is gone. |

wow!!!
sorry that seemed sooo negative.
I like the product lol. and your pricing seems fair as well, you should do great on kickstarter.
just some fine tuning on the video and shipping limits lol. |

Hey, it's OK, all feedback are welcome. I did wait till the charcoal is grey, but since there were a lot of drippings from my marinate it turned the charcoal "wet" or black. I seared the with skin on because I don't eat the skin but like to have it on for floor. The video was the a hack I know, I did it right before a party . Sorry we can only ship to US locations right now as I checked shipping to Canada will cost between $40-55 USD which is something that shocked me and I don't want people think that I am trying to make money on shipping. Hope you understand. If eventually someone wants to distribute this product in Canada or other country, then I can ship bulk to them. Thanks. |

hey the, thanks for responding. $40 is roughly what I thought. maybe more lol.
who's quote is that anyways? have you tried usps?
cause most of us in Canada have been burned "chicken black" (joke) by ups. they hit ANY AND ALL packages with a minimum $50 "duty" fee regardless of value under $50.00.
it is a heavy steel product so a heavy handed shipping charge is expected. I know it seems bad to you because the shipping is higher than your ask on kickstarter.
well best of luck to you, I see you have gotten some backers right quick, so good for ya. |
