I missed this post also. hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, my daughter bought me a set of bear claws, not sure how that is going to work out and a couple BBQ books, Smoke and spice and Ray Lampe's newest one

I've had 3 or 4 pairs of bear claws over the years, some I used with a heavy hand, some with a light touch, overall I've found a firm grip works well and allows for the finer control.

I rate them as a tool, as long as you don't get silly about the amount of weight, you can lift with them in your hands, no half a 250 lb hog. Wink Laughing Wink
