Hey guys,

I finally made an adapter cable so I can use the plasma cutter. I was able to clamp down a piece of angle iron as a guide for the straight cuts. For the radius cuts, I had scored the metal and outlined it with blue tape. All fine and well until I spark the cutter and the hood flashes to dark. I cant see the scoring or the tape. How do I make the pattern viisible so I can cut it?

Thanks ObiWans.. you're my only hope..

Change your hood to grind mode or set it on its lowest setting.

Or a set of Oxy acetylene cutting glasses.

I normally make some kind of guide to put the torch up against. I have used plastic buckets a few times for curves.

So I have had that helmet for probably 10 years. theres a little pot like there should be a knob on it. It turns. imagine that. I'll give it a try in a bit.

Clamp a cutting guide onto your work surface number one, use cutting goggles or regular sunglasses to see better. I use sunglasses.
