I've been wanting a new bandsaw for quite some time now and after several years with this little bugger

I finally pulled the trigger on the Laguna I've had my eye on

Ooh. It's like being a kid on Christmas morning Very Happy

After about 2 hours of assembly and set up, here she is in her corner of the shop.

I'm looking forward to getting some good use out of it and exploring areas of woodworking that weren't available to me before Very Happy

I try to be. Don't get to do it anywhere near enough. I need to wall off a section of the basement for a shop so I can keep it set up, not have to move everything around.

Yeah it sucks having to move things around. I have a one car garage that I converted onto my shop. The only stationary tools are my chopsaw, tablesaw, and jointer. Everything else has wheels.

Nice! I have a 20" Crescent waiting for me to rewire an outlet for 220 and add a suitable cord to plug it in.

According to the casting it was built in 1920, a tough saw made for resawing.

I need to put more on wheels, and just take the time to reorganize. Not enough time in the summer, and in the winter the wood pellets are filling up where i want to put the shop.

I have a two car garage, it's full. I have a narrow path to get into the house. Can't use the front door, my new Belgian Malnois is a door hog. A SSD from Afghanistan, he has been cooped up since I got sick. He will lose his mind when we go for drive and walk tomorrow. If I survive I will report, it doesn't look good.
