Hey ya'll.. Its been a while since I have posted here. For the most part life got in the way of BBQ and cooking it every day at work kinda killed my desire to make it at home on my day off. Not having internet for a year has been a damper on posting as well.

My exwife truely was the fuel for my BBQ mojo and since we split two years ago I have not had the same passion to create nor have I had some one to help eat my food... I know excuses. My hobby and interest has shifted from BBQ to sport shooting.

Having been a member for a couple years I can say that I have seen more than a couple of flame wars and some attacks that were pretty harsh. (not so much since SoEzzy became mod) I was on the receiving end of one that caused me to leave the ring but thanks to Tony I came back.

I think for some of the old timers they have just moved on to different sites.

Needless to say-It's Been a Long Time Coming-

Welcome Home Brother!

I'm sure that our Smoke Ring Family will agree that We are Happy the likes of Y'all have resurfaced! Cool

Looking forward to hearing (and seeing!) of your Sport Shooting escapades and also what's happening in Your Barbecue World...Maybe even some pics of You plying your craft at the Deli? Wink

Once Again, Happy to have 'Ya Back Here, Brother! Cool

Best Regards,

Tony Very Happy

Roxy, great to see you brother. Glad to hear you are moving forward. So, sport shooting, huh? Is it rifle and pistol on a target or shotguns shooting skeet/clays? Take good care brother.

Thanks JD. For now its rifle and pistol. Now that warmer weather has arrived I am hoping to try some skeet and trap.

I haven't posted on here in years, but when I first came on to this forum, I appreciated the comments and advice from all the regulars (aka "inner circle"). I never saw you guys as exclusive or cliquish. It didn't bother me if you called each other by first names - I found it rather challenging to match up the first name with the screen name. The last time I posted pics here, I got very few comments about my brisket.....cuz it really sucked! A classic teachable moment. The information I gathered from here as well as the VWBB, have been a tremendous asset to my BBQ acumen. I now have a BBQ reputation with family, friends, neighbors, and a couple local eating establishments...a good rep, that is....thanks guys....
