We lost my dad Pete Peters, on Friday, March 27th. He fought hard to stay with us but he finally just gave out.
I will miss my daily phone calls with my dad with him asking how the BBQ did each day. He was so proud of me having a BBQ place, and that it was named after him. I am lost without him. _________________ Reverse flow smoker made by my dad "Shotgun Pete" Peters over 30 years ago!

I know the pain all too well my friend! Time and patience man, I still get choked up 2 years later. A lot of shoulders here on The Ring to lean on if you need them, dont be afraid to use them!!!
Praying for you and your entire family through this.

Sorry for your loss. I still dial my Dad's phone to ask how to do this or that and then get a chuckle at my expense. Remember the good times and all the lessons learned, God's blessing on you brother. _________________ www.ridgeviewbbq.com

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Pete. I lost my dad (and my best friend in the world) over 14 years ago to cancer. I still think about him everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with you. _________________ Chargriller

Phil,
Sorry for your loss.
I remember when you first came on here and told us about your father and your idea to open a bbq shack in his honor. It has been an exciting journey to follow.
You are in my thoughts. |

I know it's devastating to lose a parent, to never hear their voice again, but take great comfort knowing he was damn PROUD of you and what you accomplished in your life and business. He's looking down on you, smiling, knowing he raised a good man. Try to keep your chin up and remember the good times you spent with him and the wealth of knowledge he gave you. _________________ The Matt Ryan of LIARS! (#2)
