Despite it being around 7 deg F yesterday, the sun was shining and I had the hankering for some ribs.

Here is Stumpy getting up to temp:


Everything coming along nicely:


Lunch is served!


One thing I love about Stumpy is that it will hold temp straight and true despite it being brisk out.

It's actually just a homemade dry rub. Black pepper, kosher salt, paprika, garlic powder and chili powder.

I like it simple and the family likes the results! Smile

I lucked out and found a guy in the GTA selling it as he was downsizing. He had gone in a few comps and then life changed and had to unload it....I definitely lucked out.

Thanks guys...luckily I was able to hide a few bones so I had something to take to work! For some reason, they tend to go rather quick around here. Smile
