Do you have a paypal account or other method of accepting a payment Phil, if you do, then list it here as well!
Some folks may want to help but are reluctant to set up yet another account to make a donation. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Shotgun Pete,
Not sure what your route would be to Pensacola. I live in Clanton, AL along I-65, it's about 3.5 hours North of Pensacola. If I can help you in any way please let me know. Also my in-laws live in Pensacola so not sure if they can be of any help or not but maybe?

Thank you guys. You have no idea how much your help means to me and my family.
My route is usually I-55 south from St Louis, stay overnight in Grenada MS, next day on to Jackson, MS,
then to Hattiesburg, MS where I get on US 98 to Mobile, Alabama then on to I-10 into Pensacola.
I make it a 2 day trip to get there.
I'm not the young man I used to be so I don't drive straight through anymore.
It's just too hard on me. Rather be safe than sorry.
Dad is out of the hospital now, but still in Rehab.
After several treatments of dialysis it seems to have helped him.
He is doing better thankfully.
I hope to be able to take him out for some BBQ or a good seafood dinner or two when I get there.
He really loves doing that.
I will post some pictures of the trip if it all works out.
Still have a ways to go on the fundraiser.
Thank you to my BBQ Brothers who have reached out so far.
I hope you all get blessed in some way. _________________ Reverse flow smoker made by my dad "Shotgun Pete" Peters over 30 years ago!

A little something thrown in. Hope you can make the trip. As someone who has lost both parents, time spent is priceless. _________________ 500 Gallon Propane Offset

Thank you guys. The fund is doing pretty good but I'm not in the clear yet so still appreciating your help out there. I feel blessed to have such good nice people as friends.
I do plan on paying it forward.
I have a project already figured out just for that. It will be a fund to help a local homeless guy (homeless since he was 17!) to finally have a home. Details when I get it all figured out. _________________ Reverse flow smoker made by my dad "Shotgun Pete" Peters over 30 years ago!

Happy to help, regardless. I stepped up right away. Most of us have had some down turns. I hope it all works out. _________________ The lessons are in the customer's criticism. They aren't always right. The rewards are their satisfaction. |

When it rains it pours.... We almost lost my youngest sister Jennifer today! She went in for a liver biopsy (Jugular entry) and had a bad reaction to the anesthesia (spelling?). Her blood pressure plummeted and her heart stopped. They did CPR for quite a while and whatever else was needed but managed to revive her. That one caught everyone by surprise! Thank God she is ok and in ICU recovering. Her name is Jennifer Percell on facebook if anyone wants to wish her well.
We were also told dad (Shotgun Pete SR) is at the point he needs to have hospice care. I knew it was just a matter of time with the way his health has been. My dad is my best friend in the world and my go-to guy when all else fails. He has always had a way of keeping me on the right path. I don't even want to think about life without him to talk to but I know it can't be avoided eventually.
I'm so glad the weekend is here....
I'm headed to Florida on this Sunday no matter what.
I'll pick up the pieces when I get back. Family is more important than money. _________________ Reverse flow smoker made by my dad "Shotgun Pete" Peters over 30 years ago!

Thank you Dan. I think you might be off my path a bit, but I do appreciate it. If I ever get near you I will stop in! _________________ Reverse flow smoker made by my dad "Shotgun Pete" Peters over 30 years ago!
