Well I was going to get a Stumps Baby but the dealer in St Louis never returned my e-mail so I ended up getting this Fat Girl from R&O Smokers in Granbury Texas.
Did two burns in it Sunday to get a good cure on it and see how it responded to changes to the firebox intakes. Been using WSM's for the last 15 years so this is a new experience for me.
Plan to fire it up and put some meat in it this weekend. _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

Nice! That's a great looking cooker. Congrats on your new toy. I'll be interested to hear how it cooks and fuel consumption, plus pics of some grub won't hurt either _________________ The Matt Ryan of LIARS! (#2)

I'm going to fire it up in the morning and cook a couple of pork butts and a maple glazed pumpkin cream cheese groundhog(fatty) for our yearly Near Halloween Poker Party.
It's been driving me crazy having it out on the back porch all week and not having time to fire it up.... It's also been driving my wife crazy because I spend all my evening time on the back porch cuddling with my other Fat Girl... lol.... Don't tell her I said that! haha
I'll post some pics of the results.... good or bad..... I'm pretty sure it will be good! _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ

And here are the pics....
Going on the smoker
At the 4 hour mark
The finished product
This smoker cooked like a dream... Recovers it's temp well after opening the door. Holds it's temp extremely well. Didn't have any temperture spikes after opening the door like I do when I lift the lid on my WSM's.
Still love my WSM's and still plan to use them for smaller cooks but this R&O Fat Girl is a cooking machine! _________________ I only believe in two basic food groups... Chili & BBQ
