It’s been a very busy summer and I have not had a chance to cook on my Disco. So I decided to put to work today Smile
Had a small piece of rib roast left from another cook

Sliced it thinly while partially frozen

Made nice size slices

Seared the slices on the Disco first

Then added sliced onions after seasoning the meat

Mixed it all up

Then added pre-blanched baby lima beans

Added some beef stock and let it simmer a little

Added a little cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken the gravy

And done so quick Smile

For the sauce, I combined sour cream, plain yogurt, Tahini (sesame paste), garlic, parsley and salt & pepper

Topped the steak and beans mixture with the sauce

The sour cream/yogurt sauce gave a taste so close to Beef Stroganoff. It was easy and tasty Smile
I stuffed the mixture in Pita bread, but this can be served over egg noodles, rice, mash potatoes, or even stuffed in hoagie rolls …etc.

That is a good looking cook. I have never cooked on a disc, but that right there has got me wandering about what I've been missing out on. Good Job.
