|
|
I recently built a mobile concession sink with hand wash sink.
I thought I would share my build if anyone wanted to also build one.
I plan on doing festivals till I save up enough money to buy a trailer.
The sink will then be installed in the trailer. I may buy a bigger 3 place
sink at that time since I bought the smallest I could find.
3 place sink Prima Supply $284.00
Faucet webstaurant $36.00
Hand wash sink with faucet webstaurant $105.00
10 Gallon Tank Ebay $29.00
16 Gallon Tank Ebay $45.00
8L Tankless Water Heater Ebay $75.00
12v Water Pump Ebay $24.00
12v Lawn Battery Lowe's $35.00
Plumbing, Wood and Wheels Lowes $283.00
Signs and Paper towel holder Wal-Mart $32.00
Total Build $948
The plumbing ended up being more expensive than I thought it would be. I got stainless steel flex lines so that really added to the cost.
I built the frame with 2x4's and used the plastic wood for the top and sides. The hand wash sink was simply bolts to the 3 place sink.

VERY nice unit!! 2 things you may want to check - drainage in the bottom for over spill and cleaning, and the exposed 2x4 on the back - throw some paint on it or wrap so it doesnt start to mold on you!
I have the "employee must wash hands" sign on my rig...it took me 2 years to notice it says employee....NOT empoyee'S!!...LOL....MUSTA BEEN WHY IT WAS ON SALE!! That, or only 1 of us needs to wash????!!! _________________ Money Maker

The overflow for the waster water tank is actually on the side of the cart under the propane heater. I have a small piece of pvc to attach so it will drain directly onto the ground and not get on any of the decking or 2x4's. The fresh water tank was missing one of the hoses in the picture and I still needed to add the valve for filling the tank up. _________________ ~Jaime~ |

Nice, seems very compact.
Question how much propane will you use and where is the tank positioned?
Also noticed how drain is connected, here in CA they want us to have an air gap between sink and holding tank and unfortunately drain boards on each side of sink are required so I will need a different sink. But thanks for the post great start to my design. |
