I was looking to buy a decent instant read thermometer and I was wondering if anyone here has and uses the ThermoPop from ThermoWorks and can give me an honest opinion on them.

I thought I would try one because I wouldn't use one enough to spend $100 on the Super-Fast Thermapen.

I love my super fast Therma Pen. I picked up a Thermo Pop last week for $26 while I was looking at the open box sale. The probe looks the same as the one on the Therma Pen and it has a back-light. It seems to be as well made as the Pen time will tell.

I got one a few weeks ago, it isnt quite as quick as my therma-pen [ a couple seconds slower - no big deal ], but seems to be just as accurate [ yes, I have been using simultaneously pop with pen the check]
So far, I think it was a great purchase, especially for the price!
