I think I was set up by my boys the other day, when I got home from work and asked everyone what they wanted for dinner, they both said at the same time...Pot Pie Laughing

Had all the ingredients except the chicken, so a quick run to the store and I was set. Cubed up 3 large chicken breasts for this one.

2 cans of cream of chicken and 1 can of chicken broth warming up on 15-18 coals.

Was just starting to boil and added the chicken to cook.

Chicken done

Package of frozen veggies, kosher salt and fresh ground pepper added and let all cook together for 15-20 minutes.

Can of biscuits added on top.

Was getting dark, dang time change Evil or Very Mad , and the coals were burning down. Added remaining coals on the top and let the biscuits cook.

About 10 minutes in, rising nicely.

Done.

In the house and resting/cooling a bit.

Braden always wants his on a plate, no problem, cools faster this way anyways.

My bowl.

Quick and easy and very good! Cant go wrong with this one for sure.

Thanks for looking Very Happy

That is delicious looking. That would great on a cool fall evening, or even a hot summer evening. Nice and simple.

Bkndsdl, pretty simple recipe really. 2 cans cream of chicken, 1 can chicken broth, 2lb bag of mixed veggies, couple cans of biscuits, 3 large chicken breasts cubed, salt and pepper to taste. I started with 15-18 coals on bottom to heat the broth and soup to a boil and then went from there. The pics pretty much show the progress from there. Give it a try and see what you think.

zski, thanks for taking a look. Its a killer good and simple meal, give it a go sometime! Good to see you around some, hope all is well and that little one is still keeping you on your toes Very Happy

TrailerBuilder, I will definitley give it a try, our family likes chicken pot pie. I don't get on here as much as I would like. I miss this place. I would always do The Smoke Ring thing when I got to work. Well the site is blocked now and I have little time at home to get on. The little one is already a year and two months. Crazy! Hope all is well with you too.
