I had a craving for fresh bread last weekend, so I thought I would share:







The bread turned out great, I might be getting the hang of it!

I have yet to do bread in my DO. I really need to make that happen soon!

I actually have better luck cooking this bread in the Dutch Oven than I do in my home oven. I feel like I have better control over the rate of the browning by adjusting the coals on the top and bottom.

i just bought me a new Lodge dutch oven last week , can not wait to try it out tomorrow . your bread looks yummy and never baked bread in one before . i will have a lot of questions after i fail the first time , lol .
