Have any of you dealt with such late turn-in times? This will only be my second competition but these seem like awfully late times.

Meat Inspection 7PM (Friday)
Chicken 2PM (Saturday)
Ribs 3PM
Brisket 4PM
Pork 5PM

That's later than most comps I've done.
We did one in Muenster, TX where the brisket turn-in was at 4:30 or 5. Made for a late night.

Is this a KCBS competition? I wouldn't know what to do with all of that extra time between turn-ins. I'm used to only 30 minutes between each turn-in. But the late turn-in times would also mean you wouldn't have to start as early on cooking either.

Hey thanks Marty. We had a good time in spite of the torrential downpour on Friday night. Thought we had a shot at GC with the two firsts but we must've fallen short on brisket. I'll post photos of the boxes in a few.
