I have been lurking around for a while and tried a few recipes that I have found on the site. Everything has turned out great and I want to learn more. I have raised my kids and now after years of coaching every sport and going to every weekend tournament known to man have too much time on my hands. I stay busy watching my Gamecocks during the fall but that still leaves a lot of open weekends. Considering trying the Competition BBQ on for size. We have a local one coming up in Sept and I need to make a decision if I want to try. Feel free to talk me out of it! I have an old Char-Griller Smoking Pro with the side box. I have to work my self to death to keep the temperature correct but hey....gives me something to do. Look forward to reading and learning more about the art of smoking meat.
