Well, my CI journey has begun. A buddy of mine gave me the 10" for a xmas gift and the buiscuit pan I bought for myself. Headed to Cabelas next weekend to pick up a Camp oven and Dutch oven next weekend.

Headed over to get as lid for the skillet tonight after dinner too.

Hope you don't mind an extra 2 cents from the cheap seats.

Make sure the lids to the ovens fit like a glove. If need be, open every single box, mix and match to find what you want and fits like it should. Screw the sales clerk who looks at you with a "what the he__ have you done to my isle". Lodge mfg process is good but, not quite what it used to be.

I use my camp ovens at home quite a bit. Nothing like pulling some coals out of the smoker to throw under and on that peach cobbler after the ribs come off. While the meat rests the cobbler cooks. While eating the ribs, the cobbler cools. Now that is art.

Well, the skillet works good! Fried up some breakfast sausage tonight for "breakfast for dinner". They stuck a little bit at first, but after the 1st turn they were good to go. Rinsed her out after with hot water and rubbed in some veggie oil. Looks black and beautiful.

That's the plan! She is soaking in some easy off right now. Seasoning tomorrow for several rounds. Found a Wagner ware 8 skillet too. No luck on any Dutch ovens though..

You did a good job on that skillet. It is amazing how well most of these old skillets will clean up.
