Cooked up some pizzas with my homemade mozzarella and the last of the fresh basil I picked off the plants.
I love using the pizza oven when its starting to get cold outside. Will have to see if I can get some pics this winter of using it in a foot of snow! |

I am working on doing a post, or posts on my site detailing the entire wood fired pizza oven build. Its not so simple when there are hundreds of pictures.... |

That is outstanding, jaronimo!
Beautiful pie, and a beautiful set up!!
The Canadian distributor of the FornoBravo pizza ovens are literally a 3 minute drive from my house. However, I'm not crazy about their prices. They have a little setup selling pies to the public. And they are very delicious. A pie is done in 2 minutes or less. _________________ "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

Damn, you guys are friggin awesome! Thanks for all the great comments. My head will get swollen for sure.
It was definitely a labor of love. It was also more work than I initially thought. But I kind of overbuilt everything. If I ever did a second one i would change a few things. But i do love it. And it is fantastic when we throw parties! |

I have only cooked a few other things in the oven so far. Got plans for more, just never seem to get around to it.
What do you cook in yours? |

I know someone that has one and they cook those marinated tenderloins you get at the store. They are done in about 8 minutes. Really turn out good. Keep in mind that he puts them in a metal pan. _________________ "Life is like a jalepeno, What you do today may burn your ass tomorrow" |

WOW, jaronimo! I saw the pizzas and was very impressed. Then I saw your oven build. HOLY (unacceptable words)!!! I've been wanting to build a wood-fired oven for a while. I thought I had grand plans, but yours looks incredible. NICE job! _________________ The Matt Ryan of LIARS! (#2)
