Here is an incredible photo from NASA's Curiosity Mars probe...
This is what Earth looks like from Mars. Think about THAT for a minute....
And for some smaller perspective, my friend Chris's photo of the Grateful Dead crowd @
the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl in Las Vegas 1994
And even smaller.....Hell Fire Grill's garden from a year or two ago...

Depends on your definition of "good".
Personally I find anything lighter than Guinness to be utterly undrinkable, but I spent much of my late youth consuming that alternately with shots of Jager until consciousness was a rough concept that was no longer fully comprehensible so YMMV.

Yes. I used to work for one of the better breweries in the USA.

I have been known to go thirsty at parties when all they have is Bud, Miller or Coors (fermented club soda). _________________ Pat

A few of us do. If it is made by Buttwiper, miller, coors, or their psudo micro breweries it is not beer in my book. I will admit to an annual 6 pack of strohs or pbr to take camping and if anyone wants to drink the stuff more power to them.
In a half hour I will be drawing a pint of rye bock from my most recently tapped keg 8.25% with a nice rye bite. _________________ "if you cant cook it in bacon grease it ain't worth eating"

I have been liking the couple of rye beers that i have tried.

For my daily beer, I'm all about the PBR. Been drinking it since before it was legal to Now, around these parts, it's considered a 'trendy, hipster' beer Fokkin' hipsters, sheesh. On the weekends and special occasions (like when I'm out of PBR) I'll partake in some good import/microbrews, but I rarely ever run out of Pabst _________________ ~Joe

A good idea when attending parties, be sure to ask ahead of time what the "beer of choice" is then take something totally different (and like).
This assures you that your beer does not disappear before you are ready for it to. _________________ Where rumors end and legend lives forever... |

IS there such a thing as bad beer?
When people want to know what to bring to our Q, we ask guests to bring beer. Killian's, Brooklyn, yeungling, Sam Adams, brands I never heard of, all of it's fine.
The cheapest stuff in a can becomes Chicken Beer, but even then, hey, somebody's got to drink off that half-a-can. _________________ Mmmmm...... bacon |

We do the same thing.
People used to bring just a little bit but then when they realized that we made a chit ton of food. They started bringing a chit ton of beer. It makes for a few days of sipping afterwords. _________________ #3 LIAR

With the exception of prohibition, which wasent enough to kill it, PBR has been around for the better part of 168 years. I'll bet not a single micro brew or craft beer made in the USA will last that long.
There youve been telebeered! |
