Is there any place worth our time to eat in the Destin FL area? We are going to see what this whole vacation craze is about on Monday for a few days. Thanks _________________ Can I get an order of fat, dipped in fat, wrapped with fat with some fat on the side?

The Shed is in Mississippi. About a 6 hour drive west. There used to be a place in DeFuniak Springs, NE of Destin, but I don't know if it's still there or not. The owner was a member here on the Ring at one time, as well. I haven't been to Destin in years, and I grew up only about an hour and a half away. Do yourself a favor. Forget the Q one night and go to Pensacola. Go to McGuire's Irish Pub. Awesome food, great atmosphere, great beer, bagpipes, and dollar bills stapled to the walls everywhere. No joke. Look it up. _________________ "Never trust a skinny cook."

There is also a shed in Destin. Do yourself a favor and look it up. I bought a shirt from there after I ate. _________________ Weber 26.5" Charcoal grill

The Shed BBQ and Blues Joint, which also has locations in Mobile, Ocean Springs, Miss. and Gulfport, Miss., announced Friday that it was shutting down its Destin location at HarborWalk Village.
The restaurant was located in the original Destin city hall building off U.S. 98, but did not have direct access to the water or boardwalk, which may have hurt foot traffic, according to Peter Bos, CEO of Legendary Inc., the real estate development company behind HarborWalk Village, Emerald Grande, Destin Commons and more.
"Those guys (at The Shed) worked hard to keep things going and we did everything we could to help them out," Bos said in The Destin Log newspaper. "It was a great place and it was really neat inside. We are really sorry to see them go."
Bos said Legendary is seeking a replacement tenant for that location, but added "it might not be food."
The Shed is the latest in a number of restaurant closures in recent years in HarborWalk, joining Camellia Grill, Commander's Palace and Pat O'Brien's.
Ok I guess I can't recommend it since it's no longer there. I did eat there when it was though. My bad, _________________ Weber 26.5" Charcoal grill

Maybe give Hogs Breath a try. That is if it's still there, got a shirt from there as well after we ate. _________________ Weber 26.5" Charcoal grill
