I'm really likin' my new MacGyver upper deck smoking rack for the Weber Kettle.....
Works grate except right over the fire brick...loss of 5 on the play..
Tried doing up a bunch ahead of time as the crew I'm feeding eats them like candy...
Re-heated on the gas boxes & worked out just fine...
This left plenty of room for other stuff....
Didn't have time for a lot of finished pics as it got kinda busy at feed bag time..
Whipped out the'Little Piglet' appetizer grill for the 1st time...
That was at some friends' house on May 1st...
Then back home on the 7th for moinks,'turds, & tri-tip for a good friend's
memorial sevice...
Next day was Mother's Day & the wife & I decided to stay home & do it up right....
She did baby brocoli & roast fingerling potatoes in th house while I put the pups to work out back...
Tri-tip...
Buffalo chicken moinks (Choinks, I'd guess you call them)
Habanero 'turds
& the mystery smoke....What is it ??? (The wife's idea)
All the elements for a fun time...
OK ~~~> It's a glazed donut twist bar w/straight cream cheese, thick chocolate sauce, bacon smoked 1hr35min w/cherry shread...
I didn't bother w/ internal temp as I would've been wrong anyway...
Again ...the wife's idea & guess what...IT TASTED GREAT !!!
Have fun playing w/ your food !!!

Incredible pron! The first few pix looked like the invasion of the ABTs. How long did it take you to assemble that many? It all looks delicious. _________________ OK Joe Offset

Takes abt. 20-25 min. to cut & core 2 lbs.
I soak in Sprite to equal the flavor out w/the tandoori spice in the cream cheese, the smoke, & the bacon.
Wrapping (1/4 of pretty big ones) takes abt. 100-120 per hour, if the bacon co-operates

Doesn't matter how many 'turds I do, I'll never catch up to your egg project. I show people that all the time, to show the Smoke Ring is abt. ALL kinds of stuff.

WOW
That's a lot of candy. I like your MacGyver upper deck , looks like it worked great.
The loss of 5 on the play, happens to everyone, those are designated for the cook to snack on
You sure know how to utilize a Kettle
Everything looks absolutely delicious _________________ Got Fire?
