We are about to build us a catering /vending trailer ,and was just wandering how you guys deal with the bathroom issue. This was the FIRST thing the wife wanted to know Rolling Eyes when we decided to do this.

I'm not sure you can have one in the trailer. I'm sure it varies from place to place. Here you have to have one within 50 ft of you, be it a porta potty or arrangements made with another business.

No bathroom on my trailer, and I wouldn't give up space or add size for it.

Just make sure you have a trailer that is easy to lock up when you put up the sign "back in 10 minutes" to walk to the nearest rest room.

I believe you can have one on a vending/catering trailer, but you can not have sleeping facilities. I'd verify with your local regs first.

Ditto to JPM response.

I'm not picturing having a crapper in any type of food trailer (unless it's a converted RV perhaps).

Wow honey, that batch of "sauce" you just cooked up smells Delicious! Confused Shocked Mad Cool Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have seen a few trailer with them but I wouldn't spend the money or space for one.The only time you may need one is 1.someone can't won't go in a portapotty or you are the only person running the show and there is a steady line all day.(hope that happens but never does).Your trailer will get really small as soon as you start adding stuff and if something doesn't have a dual triple purpose rethink if you really need that. The space a bathroom would take could make a really handy space for more storage.

I would believe that you would have to install another holding tank. One for gray water and one for black water "$hit tank" plus your fresh water tank.
Hang a sign that says "BRB in 5 minutes" and hope there ain't a line for the crapper.

Every customer I've had come to me and want a toilet in a trailer I refer to their HD. Amazingly enough they really don't have any issue with it as long as it is in its own enclosed area and a partition wall is between it and the prep/serving area for food. Similar to a separate living quarters setup.

Some have asked that the entry to the toilet be from an outside door instead of entering from the trailer itself.
