Not snowing here, but it's 25 F with snow on the ground and I'm smoking. Was a little harder getting the fire going this morning, however, now it seems to be working nicely.

I did a cook at 29 degrees yesterday...they just seem to get hungrier for more fuel in the cold temps. Looks like you have a tasty winter's day ahead of you! _________________ WSM 18

Its a smoker i built. I don't have real detailed pics of the inside but here are 2. I want to put a second shelf in it sometime in the future.
The pans can be used dry or with water. They are also the baffle that makes it a reverse flow. They are both removable for cleaning. |

Good looking grub. I did mine yesterday before the front went through. No way I'm tending a fire in 40 MPH wind gusts and these temps. |

Fine job there and kudos on your smoker build. If I couldn't BBQ in the cold I would starve for 6 months out of the year! _________________ LURKER

Smoken-Brewer, those ribs turned out beautiful. Very nice color to the bone I would be all over those Almonds as well. Nicely done my man.
You would of course have to make some room in the firebox for me, I don't care for the white stuff. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

I enjoy smokin in the cold. that way you have to find that sweet spot on your pit where you set your beer and there is just enough heat coming off it to keep it from freezing.
Good job on the grub and the smoker. _________________ Beer doesn't make you fat it makes you lean...lean against tables,poles,walls....
