At work, there was lots of talk about bacon and everything you can get it in or flavored with.
I decided to stop at the way home and pick up some chocolate from the craft store (the kind you normally use to mold chocolate). I had some bacon at home and I simply cut the slices into smaller slices and then put a dollop of chocolate on wax paper, placed a piece of bacon on it, put some more chocolate on it and added some macadamia nuts to some and left the others alone. I stuck it in the fridge to set up and tried it later.
The Pig Poop are the dark ones and the Heavenly Poop are the white ones:
First impressions: The white chocolate is better than dark because it is sweeter (everyone I know liked the white better). Maybe milk chocolate would be better than dark and a good in-between these two. Also, you can't pull these from the fridge and eat them, you need to let them come to room temp as you don't want the bacon that hard. You don't taste the macadamia nuts in here, but the crunch is a nice addition.
Next time: I will make the bacon much smaller, more like bacon bits, so that it can be blended into the chocolate better and get bacon flavor faster. As is, you get the chocolate and then wait a while and then the bacon flavor comes out. _________________ Scott V.

That's because it had been done 4 days ago... Good point though.
I would recommend cooking it before you make these ( ) and would recommend a slightly crunchy bacon instead of chewy as when you are chewing the chocolate, crunchy bacon would break and blend flavors better than chewy would. _________________ Scott V.
