We've been asked to run a concession stand for a concert for tomorrow. The man in charge went and looked at the 2 concession stands and told us the older one was bigger and had an air conditioner with 3 fridges and a freezer. The newer one was smaller with no air and one fridge. We went and looked at them tonight and took our supplies and OH BOY! OLder one was nasty and AC was on but the area is divided into 2 sections so air doesn't get to where the actual selling would be. The newer is about as advertised. I have some ladies volunteering to help and don't know how they are gonna stand it. Oh, the forecast is for the temp high to get to about 99. Any quick and cheap ways to cool down the areas and the ladies? any advice?

Coming from a place where the weather is pretty much always in the 90's, you best bet is a couple large fans, if not available, smaller ones but insure they are covering everyone. Wear light airy outer wear, and I actually find that a tank type T shirt under garment helps keeps your outer garment dry looking.
I like to have a change of shirt available also. If your wearing hats, try and find something that is well vented in the top, some baseball type hats are well vented and others are terrible to wear on a hot day if not vented well.
Some small towels, usually have one around my neck like a toque. Have lots of water available for everyone working, and a place to sit if possible. Stay out of the direct sun!

Good Luck, hope its a little help anyway.

I would check your local equipment rental service for a portable dehumidifier...

Go to your local Rent-2-Own center, and rent an A/C for a week or whatever.

High velocity fans.

Any way to suck or blow the cold area over, under, around or through the partition, as the wind from the fans can be a hassle.

Prices on portable A/C units are in the $300's now.
