Bein' new to all this ..... I don't yet have all the proper tools (injector). Could ya just marinate the chicken in the mix for several hours , then dry rub it and get close to the same results ?

The results would be different. You can find injectors at many dollar stores, big lots and wal mart just to name a few for about $2.

Thank you for sharing your Margarita recipe. Got to try this for a change. All I do with Margarita is drink it, frozen or plain. Guess it's about time I eat it as well:) Thanks again!

That sounds great. There is a taste difference between lime pepper and lemon though.

I couldnít find any of the ingredients for the dry rub, thatís why I settled for the lemon pepper instead of the lime pepper. But I have a local grocery store that is going too see if they can get them for me.

The manufacturer replied to my email:

"Sam's Club has discontinued the Lime Pepper. However, we do continue to produce that item. This is usually sold for institutional use and is ONLY available via mail order from Diversified Distributing. For additional information, Diversified Distributing can be contacted at 1-877-453-1638. The website for Diversified Distributing is http://www.yourfoodstore.com

Not all the available items are listed on Diversified's website. For information on the items NOT found on their website, please use the "contact us" section or call them at the number listed above."

I found some of the ingredients online and at some at Food MaX. I butterflied two whole chickens and did one "Margarita Chicken" and the other I injected and basted with Sriracha hot sauce and an apple juice mixture. They came out great and I have made the Margarita Chicken several times since. Thanks Alien for sharing.
