Well - here's another mrcustomsteel thread that ended up fanstastic!!
I've seen this smoker in person while visting D's shop - as usual the fabircation is top notch and built like a TANK!
Now it's my turn to give Stel a hard time for looking like a proud new papa - ROFL!
Thanks for sharing guys - it's been fun following the thread and watching another D Tillery custom smoker come to life. If it cooks anything like how his other pits he's built me have - then I'm sure Stel's a happy camper
The cook pics looked awesome - and fun! |

Hey those aren't Beretta M9's!!!!! What gives, man? Great looking smoker guys. LOVE the EGA, but Cuba is missing. All jokes aside...set up shop in front of the main gate going into the Island....you'd make a killing. Great job.

Joshsheff1, Thank you.
daddywoofdawg, Thank you. The lights are 1.25" pipe over 1" pipe to swing out with set screws to tighten. Stel did the wiring. Maybe he will post some more pics.
cody, Thanks. I can build you one as big as you want!
vexter1, Thanks. I used much of what I learned building the General to make Sarge.
Hell Fire Grill, Thanks.
missionsusmc, Thanks. Those are traces of my Colt 10mm Delta Elite 1911A1 Frame. Send me a Beretta and I'll use it next time.
pullit, Thanks
Sgt. Stel, I'm so happy you like your new rig. More action pics please. I'm looking forward to Mizzou tailgating season.
trueque, Thanks.
Devildog03318590, Thanks. I love making all y'all Marines Happy. It means a lot to me when I have a theme and it rings through.

Sorry it took me so long, I just finished the power this weekend and I wanted to get "finished" photos.
I didn't want a feeder plug cable dangling in the wind so I wired a closed system. No inbound power. To get power to the circuit I made this.
I just plan any 12 gauge extension cord into this. Makes for a cleaner trailer in storage and travel.
I'm going to paint the yellow cable that runs along the trailer frame black.

Sgt Stel, I absolutely love the build especially the "steam line" but be careful with your feeder line. I am assuming, and I know what happens when you assume, that if that pig tail plug comes out of the outlet you could have a male plug in water or setting on the ground "live". Possible shock hazard. Other wise I think you have done an awsome job on this cooker and will "borrow" a few things from this build. |

Yes hatfam the rule is that the feeder line gets plugged into the rig before anything else. I might even run a tie wrap around the pig tail to the black pipe to keep it secure before the extension gets plugged in. But you're right safety, safety, safety!!
They wanted like $35 for a male outlet and I just couldn't see that.

nice job Sgt. i would like to point out a few things if i may. since this cooker is going be outside, all of the outlets should be G.F.C.I. outlets. the next thing would be the pig tail for the power tap. i think a twist-lock plug and outlet would be a better set up. if someone trips on the power cord ,it will not pull out, and put you in the dark.
now drop and give me twenty
