I have a smoker its has a center fire box of 20" in the center and then a 20" diameter barrel 48" long for the smoker. there is a removable deflector / charcoal pan in the center. tjhis allow a reverse indirect smoking
I would like to get one of the new temp control units and have been looking at a DIGIQ with a 25 cfm fan for this. the inlet dampers are 4 x 6 " and this was suggested by BBQ Guru .

Any one had good luck with tis or another model that I should consider?

Thanks Bill

I have been using a Stoker from Rock's Barbecue for over a year and have been very happy. I have 4' X 24" offset with a big firebox and I use a 10 cfm fan. Haven't had any problems regulating the temp yet.

Good luck with whatever you choose!
