I don't want to become known as a one trick pony that only shows seafood, but this was a most excellent incursion into the world of hot grilled fish, so I thought I would share.

The local grocery store had some extremely fresh marlin steaks that I couldn't pass up.

I deliberated a bit and decided to do a Japanese style marinade and dipping sauce. the sauce consisted of Tamari soy sauce, Mirin, grated ginger, grated Thai peppers, grated garlic and sugar...oh yeah, and abundant quantities of dark sesame oil. I saved out some of the marinade for dipping sauce.

To go with it, we had some left over stuffed sweet red peppers and we made some thai style carrot and cucumber salad.

Here ya go

In the marinade

On the grill

Once turned

On the plate

Thanx for looking.

Hope you enjoyed. Wink

I could eat that all day. Too bad anything good and fresh cost to damn much! Mighty fine looking eats.
