daddywoofdawg, You can only get that paint in Texas. Laughing To answer your question on my next build, yes it will be Mrs.K.A.M.'s and my comp. cooker. It will be a lot smaller footprint than this one. We do not plan on a whole lot of competing but they seem like a lot of fun. Also if the boys need a smaller trailer rig they will have my next one to use if they choose.

Awsome looking rig. You have provided many ideas and much inspiration. My buddy and I have started an RF got the firebox cut out and tacked together might get tank cut today. Can't wait to see painted pictures of your rig.

Yesterday I saw the cooker for the first time painted and I was impressed the painters did a fantastic job.
We cleaned out all the sand and rinsed her down. Then warmed her up for her seasoning and first cook.
We also mounted the tool box. After that we kicked back and watched her go to work.
I would like to Thank Whitey for his help and knowledge of the R/F design. Also Charlie (Cranky Buzzard)
for his knowledge and allowing me to vent when needed. Laughing
Also Chuck for the advice and knowledge he gave me through out the build.
And D. (mrcustomsteel) for his advice he has shared with me.
And I would like to Thank everyone on the ring for all the encouragement and kind words given through out the build.
Now the pics. Very Happy
James cleaning out the sand.

Fixing to mount the tool box.

I guess I can drill a few more holes. Laughing

Loading the fire box.

Starting the fire.

A view from the front.

A pic of me and the build.

Their team name sign I cut out for them to mount between the door stops.

The team and myself.

We loaded her down with 20lbs of leg quarters, deer sausage, hot links, and hot dogs.

I love this warmer she hovered at 145 to 155 the entire time.

Now she is a well seasoned machine.

The warmer.

The charcoal grill.

The mounted burners.

My granddaughter convinced me to air up her pool.

The granddaughters convinced maw maw she needed to go swimming.

Our daughter had a cookie made for the first cook.

paw paw and Brett.
