All the sudden racks of beef ribs have started to pop up in my local grocery. I'm tempted to try some. These are just the "regular" racks, not the short ribs/longribs/dino bones. In between the size of a rack of baby back and a rack of spares.

We can most always get those. They are normally either a single rack or 2 full racks in the cryo. Unfortunately, most of the time, the only meat on these is between the bones as they are trimmed all the way down.

I have to say that short ribs are the only good ones I've been able to find with consistent quality.

My beef ribs are usually nasty.

Most folks only want them if they get an entire rack of their own! Wink Razz

Those look like the ones in the store, {the ones in the display case} EXCEPT twice as meaty as the ones we get here.

That's the one thing that always irritated me about beef ribs; they taste great, but they always try to rip you off by selling overtrimmed ribs (at least where I live).
