I also want to know, the store brand rubs suck and im tired of the bland taste of them. I want a stable brand that I can find, or some simple make it myself rub _________________

I love head country rub...use it a good bt...very versatile pork or beef. Fellow ringers introduced me and I use it often when not using homemade.

The best all around pork rub that I've found is Texas BBQ Rub Original.

Another very good rub on pork, or anything for that matter is Sucklebusters Hoochie Mama rub. The SB BBQ sauce also ROCKS!

I have made my own rubs for years and some of them came out pretty good, but most of the time, I can't make 'em for what I can buy 'em for after ordering fresh spices etc. Give these a try, you will not be dissappointed. _________________

Kansas city rub
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
¼ cup paprika
5 tbls kosher salt
2 tbls onion powder
1 tbls garlic
1 tbls pepper
1 tbls chili powder
1 tbls corriander
1 tbls celery salt
1 tsp mustard powder
½ tsp poultry seasoning
½ tsp ginger
¼ tsp ground allspice
¼ tsp cayenne pepper. _________________ TW
