Looking good. Are wood-fired smokers popular in Sweden, or are you one of the few people there who know how nice a rack of smoked ribs can be? |

No wood-fired smoker are not so popular here the are expensive if you can get a hold of one. So build one ist the solution. I am one of the lucky guy that found out that smoking taste much better than grilling. Here normal grilling is most pooular. Some of my friends are starting to use there weber kettle as a smoker after tasting my babyribs. |

Skaningen, I am glad to see you posting again. Your cooker build is looking fantastic. I especially like those ball valves they look serious. I will be watching for more updates. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Yes that is a my builder beer stack. If its going to last until iam finished with my building depends on how much planing I do. More planing, more beer, more good ideas (Hoppfully I remeber the ideas until next day) longer bulding time That means that i have to get more beer. Just finish it now with the ideas i have now then i have enough with beer |

I wonder if that air intake might be so tall that it's going to become a smoke stack - thus giving "reverse flow" a whole new meaning!

I was thinking the same but if its too high i just cut it down. I made it this high because i was afraid that the heat from the chamber should burn the valve |

Perhaps, but I'm thinking the constant flow of relatively cool air will keep the valve safe...

Hi
Finally I desided to finish this project .
I fired it up today to see so everything worked before I make the finishing on it.It burns really good. No problem with intake.
I got 370F in the tank when i tested the reverse flow and 350F in the smokecabinet when i used it normaly. So now its just get the handles on and find someone that can paint it.
Here is some photo from the fireing her up
I also had small side project i build a Biltong cabinet its for drying meat. Its South African way to dry meat.
All you need is a cabinet (90cmx40cm) and 60 w bulb and you are up and running.
Some photos of that

I wish you had posted a new thread in some ways.
The policy shift this year means pictures smaller than 650px on the longest side.
Please read PMPNLT650pxOTLS!!
Sorry about that! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

SoEzzy
I have rezised them on photobucket to 640x 480 but when i look the size on the new photos here it still shows 1024.
if the are still to big i have to resize them on my computer and upload them again.

Yes you need to resize outside photobucket, then upload the resized pictures.
You can set your upload settings so all pictures from now on will be good, check the 5th or 6the post in the thread I linked to. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Skaningen, great looking smoker. Love the FB intake and your smoke cabinet. That puppy should put out some serious eats. You may corner the market for BBQ over there. _________________ GreenSmoker / Steve C.
