I'm going to get a grill to do steaks and other things that I can't do in the smoker I have a gass grill now but wood like to get a wood burning grill any sugestions

Weber's the only way to go, IMO. I've owned a lot of them and none last like the Weber, most can't get replacement parts for them, and the features Weber offers are tops.

I've got the 18.5 gold but would have prefered the performer. If you don't get a performer, make sure you spring the extra dollars for the gold, it's worth it.

get a chargriller or a brinkman offset and you can have both.

Weber - I've heard so many people say you can't beat a Weber that I just had to try one. Now I say "You can't beat a Weber".
I have a Smokey Joe for just a couple of steaks and a 22.5 Silver for more, or indirect. I hardly use the gasser (Charbroil Commercial from Lowes) anymore. I only use the offset for butts and briskets.

Yup...Weber charcoal grill is THE only way to go. My gasser is in the city dump where it belongs....Gas grill Rolling Eyes
