Hey, Ring!

Just wanted to share a few pics from a big cookout I did yesterday.

I made 2 bone-in shoulders, some smoked chorizo, a smallish packer brisket, a bunch of ribs, and due to popular demand I ended up throwing on two more boston butts that cooked for most of the night and will be used for various leftovers this month.

Long day, but so worth it!

That's my first brisket right there. Smile I was worried about drying it out, but everyone devoured it and kept saying how good it was, so I guess I better do that again! Smile

Best part? Because a few people RSVPd and then didn't make it, I still had basically two whole shoulders that I was able to keep as leftovers! Can't wait to play with some recipes....

Thanks! Smile

I'm so not complaining about more for me!

Oh - also, a shout out to whomever pointed me at the Black Knight BBQ gloves from here. They worked perfectly and made my cook a lot easier since I could just reach in and grab stuff without having to fight a spatula or tongs, and pulling the pork with them on was purest simplicity.

Thanks again, all!

82, I'm almost tempted...you can kinda hear the shelves in my fridge and freezer groaning under the leftovers if you listen hard enough! Smile I took care of all the meat, so everyone who came over was responsible for sides, and there were a LOT!
